## What an impact score is

Themes tell you what customers are talking about. Impact scores tell you what each theme is costing you. Sunbeam ties every theme to the metric you care about (NPS, star rating, conversion, retention, revenue, or anything custom you plug in) and works out how much each one is pulling that number.
